What factors do you look before finalizing a keyword for your blog post, I usually look and analyze the keyword for almost 4-5 times before actually using it on my blog because choosing long tail keywords between hundreds of short tail keywords is not everyone cup of tea. I remember those days when people use to flood their articles with Tags and keywords and rank better than most of the authorities of that time then Google Panda and Google Hummingbird was introduced which penalize dozen of web pages in bulk back in 2011.
The process of finding keyword and adding it to the article is pretty much simple you just need to do it the way it supposes to be. In the rest of the post I will explain some free ways to find golden keywords and use them to rank better in search engines.
How to find profitable long tail keywords using free tools
Google Keyword Planner
Since I use paid tools most of the time , I still love using Keyword Planner for some reason. This tool is basically made for Adwords advertiser but available for free to everyone. Let me show you how it works, I usually pick the first option “Search for new keywords using the phrase, website or category” For example Let’s take “Sunglasses” as a seed keyword. Look what I found!
Ubersuggest.io with Keyword everywhere
Ubbersuggest is a bread and butter tool to dig and find some great long keyword keywords. You can add some additional feature to this tool. For more better finding install the Google Chrome extension called Keyword Everywhere. After successful installation your Ubersuggest tool automatically gets 3 more columns which analyze the Monthly Volume, CPC, and Competition for a keyword. This tool is kinda long tail keywords generator for those who don’t want to spend long hours in researching.
For example, Take “Vanilla Icecream” as a seed keyword.
Aha, I luckily found some good keywords here which I can rank quickly I wish I had a Ice Cream business lol. Have a look –
This tool eliminates the brainstorming part and finds you some gold mine in less than a minute.
(Tip: Try putting some words like “How” and “from” in seed keyword for better results. For ex. “How to use facebook for” and “Leather jacket for”)
Holy mother of happiness! This is not a tool seriously but why it works as a tool. So Google search engine is keyword digger itself. You just need to put seed keyword in the search bar and go to the bottom of the page and there you will find some related search terms which are pretty good keywords as well. If you had installed the tool Keyword everywhere I mentioned above then you even get the Search volume and CPC of keywords.
You can use this to find some related phrases to your keyword.
Keyword Tool Dominator
This tool is an advance version of Google Autosuggest, It uses various aspects to find you some keywords that you might love using in your blog post though It takes Google Suggestion feature to the whole new level and shows some strongly related long tail phrases.
I recommend this tool to those who prefer using Google autosuggestion for keyword researching purpose.
Another free autosuggestion or say even better than other ones, This might make your researching much better by adding 5 different search engine autocomplete feature at the same page. Isn’t it cool?.
The concept behind this website is to provide the question people’s frequently ask. Like I use the term Xbox and here is the result. I just found so many “how to” and “What” keywords in seconds.
Copy your keyword and put it on keyword planner to get the value.
Final words: So I covered almost every free tool here to find Profitable Long Tail Keywords. Now it’s your turn, let me know how these tools work for you in the comment section.
